Dyersburg, TN

The City of Dyersburg and Dyer County selected A2H to design a Master Plan for the Courthouse Square area of downtown Dyersburg.  The plan will incorporate streetscape improvements that utilize large planting islands to improve both pedestrian and vehicular circulation.  The Master Plan will be utilized for years to come as an important tool for planning the future improvements for downtown Dyersburg.

 

 The scope of the project will include:

• Replacement of curb and gutter and sidewalks
• installation of brick paver accents forthe new concrete sidewalks and to replace existing crosswalks to increase the ease of pedestrian circulation in the square area. 
• Large landscape islands with irrigation and new lighting will help to create "traffic calming" and a safer and more pleasant pedestrian experience. The improvements will also be designed to meet current ADA guidelines
