A2H was selected by Brentwood Originals, a leading manufacturer of pillows and decorative bedding items, to provide site selection, due diligence, funding alternatives, programming, civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and landscape architectural services for the construction of their new 380,000 SF new manufacturing and distribution center (375,000 SF slab-on-grade and 5,000 SF of mezzanine). The $10 million facility is located on 44 + acres in Walls (Village of Memphis), Mississippi. The A2H team faced a few unique challenges with this project. The ventilation system had to be adapted for the addition of a dust collector, necessary to keep harmful particles out of the air. The area also had a problem with low water pressure. The A2H team solved this problem by designing an elevated water tank to supply the factory with water.  The A2H team also successfully negotiated for 44 acres of land at no cost to Brentwood.
