A2H planned and designed a four-mile sewer interceptor along Mary's Creek for the City of Memphis Public Works Department.  Coordination with the Office of Planning and Development was required to determine future population distributions in the area.  Preliminary and final alignments for the sewer were established as well as field surveys and easement plats.  Final construction documents were prepared for the final alignment that included approximately 21,000 l.f. of sewer line and 53 sewer manholes and a temporary pump station to handle the new effluent from the interceptor.

  •  Phase 1 will include approximately 8429 l.f. of 36" and 1526 l.f. of 30" sewer line.  Pumping station rated at 550 gpm.
  •  Phase 2 will include approximately 3700 LF of 30", 1400 l.f. of 24" and 5370 l.f. of 24" sewer line.

Scheduled to begin construction in 2009
