A2H has acquired Collierville-based SpiritArchitecture Group, effective July 1, 2026. The acquisition expands A2H’s local footprint and deepens its longstanding justice practice by adding Spirit’s specialized experience in planning, programming, and designing justice facilities.
The firms have worked alongside one another for more than 25 years, developing a shared approach to serving clients, respecting budgets, and designing facilities that support the communities around them.
For SpiritArchitecture clients, the people behind their projects are not changing. All Spirit employees remain based in the Collierville office on the historic town square, and clients will continue working with the same familiar people and project teams. What changes is the depth of support available through A2H’s full-service architecture and engineering resources.

Justice has long been an important market for A2H. SpiritArchitecture adds decades of specialized experience and a practical approach centered on each client’s operational needs and budget. Just as important, both firms share the same focus on clients and the communities these facilities serve.
A2H and Spirit have worked together on justice facilities across Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. Combined, the firms have designed more than 100 justice-related projects worth over $1.5 billion, giving the expanded team greater reach to pursue larger, more complex opportunities.
Many Spirit justice clients are counties A2H already supports through planning, design, and infrastructure services, creating opportunities to serve those clients more comprehensively while preserving established relationships.
Beyond justice, the acquisition expands A2H’s local architecture practice across commercial, industrial, and institutional markets. It builds on SpiritArchitecture’s work for the Town of Collierville, City of Millington, Mid-South Gifted Academy, Memphis-Shelby County Schools, Memphis National Golf Club, Hillwood Investment Properties, and numerous regional clients while keeping the local knowledge and relationships behind that work in place.
Jim Langford serves as A2H’s justice market leader, and Scott Rozanski, AIA, serves as director of justice architecture. Together, the expanded team will continue supporting existing clients while pursuing continued growth in justice and local architecture markets across the South.
