On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, A2H was proud to join Tipton County Schools, local leaders, educators, and families for the ribbon-cutting of the new Covington Elementary School and Covington Middle School. The event marked an important milestone for the community and the official opening of a campus shaped by resilience, collaboration, and a shared commitment to students.
For many in Tipton County, this moment carried special meaning. The new schools represent the culmination of nearly two years of recovery following the EF-3 tornado that struck the former Crestview campus on March 31, 2023. Since that day, students and staff have adapted, relocated, and persevered while plans moved forward to rebuild. The ribbon-cutting signaled not just the completion of new facilities, but the return of a school community to a permanent place it can once again call home.
A2H was honored to partner with the district on a campus designed to support both today’s educational needs and the long-term future of the community. Supported by more than $28 million in emergency grant funding, the new schools include modern learning environments with integrated technology, updated safety features aligned with current standards, and shared spaces that encourage collaboration and school pride. Together, the elementary and middle schools create a cohesive campus that reflects the identity of Covington while providing a strong foundation for learning.
Moments like this are a reminder of why we do what we do. At A2H, our work is guided by a simple idea: Creating an Enhanced Quality of Life for Our Clients and Community. Being part of a project that helps students, teachers, and families move forward after loss is a powerful expression of that mission.
While the ribbon has been cut, the story is just beginning. When students return from winter break on January 6, 2026, these halls will come to life as a new chapter begins for the Chargers and Cavaliers.
We are grateful to Tipton County Schools and local leadership for placing their trust in A2H and allowing us to be part of such a meaningful project. Welcome home.
