The City of Savannah has a long term vision of positioning itself as a historic Southern hub with potential job growth and recreational opportunities. As part of its strategy to attract tourists and boost the local economy, the city desired a new marina park due to its prime location on the Tennessee River.

A2H developed a Master Plan for the marina, along with other attractions. The plan includes a hotel resort, an amphitheater, public access to the river, a recreational park, sites for multiple restaurants, and a large parking lot for recreational vehicles.

To determine the best design elements for the program, A2H planners conducted a thorough analysis of the existing site, surrounding property, and current conditions of access to the river.
