To address the growing healthcare needs of Jonesboro and the surrounding region, NEA Baptist Health System developed a comprehensive medical campus on an 85-acre site. A2H led the site planning, civil engineering design, and landscape architecture for the project, facilitating a cohesive integration of medical facilities and infrastructure.
The campus features a six-story, 550,000-square-foot hospital with 228 beds, expandable to 300, connected floor-by-floor to a 220,000-square-foot clinic housing various medical specialties. Additionally, a 33,000-square-foot cancer center offers advanced oncology services. A2H’s responsibilities included designing efficient traffic flow systems, coordinating utility services, and obtaining necessary government approvals, enabling the timely completion of a state-of-the-art medical campus that enhances healthcare delivery in Northeast Arkansas.
