As part of the City of Germantown’s on-going commitment to providing its’ citizens first class utility infrastructure, the city sought to add a new elevated water tower to the Eastern portion of their water system. After a previous attempt years before failed to gain public support, the city undertook this renewed effort to secure this a water tower.
After an extensive qualifications-based selection process, A2H was selected to lead the site selection, planning, public engagement, and engineering design process for a new 500,000 gallon elevated tower.
The new tower sites directly adjacent to the new Forest Hill Elementary School campus, also planned and designed by A2H, and serves as another monument to the city’s forward-thinking approach to thoughtful growth.
