Recognition

The Jackson Regional Workforce Training Center represents a transformative $34.5M investment in workforce development and economic growth for West Tennessee. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to serve as a hub for education and training, equipping individuals with the skills needed to thrive in today’s job market while supporting the growth of local industries.

A2H is proud to provide full-service architecture and engineering for this project, working alongside our design partner Goodwyn Mills Cawood. It’s been an honor to collaborate with the Tennessee Board of Regents, Jackson State Community College, and Montgomery Martin Contractors to bring this vision to life. Special recognition also goes to our friends at the Greater Jackson Chamber for their hard work advocating for this project.

The design incorporates a variety of specialized spaces tailored to workforce training and industry needs. The 67,800-square-foot facility will feature over 33,000 square feet of instructional space, including dedicated areas for the nationally recognized Advanced Maintenance Technician (AMT) Co-op and the Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) Jackson Tool & Die program. Workforce Solutions will gain expanded training spaces to support local and regional industries, while more than 10,000 square feet of flexible bays will offer leasing opportunities for industrial equipment training and research. Additionally, the building will include a 3,609-square-foot flexible meeting space with floor-to-ceiling windows, providing a versatile venue for corporate events, trainings, and community gatherings.
