With an outdated and undersized existing facility, Resource Label Group decided it was time to relocate and expand. Their search for a new location included several key factors. First to relocate to a more desirable area with access to a quality workforce. Second to have a facility that could serve as their regional headquarters and showcase their business offerings to prospective clients.
A2H was able to lead Resource Label Group throughout their site selection process by providing both planning and design expertise. This included analyzing potential sites for proper fit and circulation, developing conceptual floor plans, and working with a developer/design-build contractor team.
A key part of this project was navigating the challenging government approvals process. This included both meeting design review guidelines for the area and obtaining planning commission approval. New stormwater regulations were being enacted at the time this project was seeking approval, so additional effort was needed to ensure that the new regulations were followed and that the city understood the proposed solution.
